Our Approach

Aerial Thermal Imaging for Building Diagnostics

Missing, damaged, or inadequate insulation, building envelope air leaks, moisture intrusion, and substandard work are costly to residential and commercial building owners. An aerial drone infrared camera can help you quickly identify and find the sources of energy efficiencies, destructive water damage, and structural issues so property managers and engineers, and building sciences experts can make informed decisions on needed repairs that can help them save energy dollars and stay more comfortable.

Our Story

We Use Infrared Technology to Detect Moisture

Infrared thermography is a powerful, non-invasive way to monitor and troubleshoot building envelope and structural problems as well as detect moisture issues, whether it’s at an apartment, office complex, or manufacturing plant.

During the daylight hours the heat of the sun warms the roof of your building and at night the roof radiates that heat back towards the sky. This is known as radiation cooling. Wet areas of the roof have a higher mass and because of this they will retain the heat longer. Meanwhile areas that are dry, which have a lower mass, cool more rapidly. Infrared imaging detects and displays the uneven heat dissipation, accurately identifying areas of a building needing attention.

Our ability to have a FLIR thermal imaging camera mounted on a UAV can get unparalleled information for property managers, engineers, and building sciences experts to help them make more accurate assessments.
